1919 is more like a single scenario based game. Think Clue, but in a larp setting. The setting is consistent, a post apocalyptic Earth, but most of the story
is made by the players during the game. There are no NPc's, everyone is a player. The game type is determined before play, there are a few kinds of play
styles to choose from. "Masquerade" where you have to figure out who isnt human, "Escort", where you have to get a person or group of
people to a designated spot without harm, and so on. It's live combat, like wyvern, and you choose skills based on your randomly decided race. It's
relatively simplistic, but it is engineered that way to be quick and fun. Chet will explain in greater detail, but if you have any more questions hit up
myself, Alex Freeman (Gabriel) , Mark DeFrain (Tunare), or Zach Wydawski (Alec). Chet isnt ever on the boards.

WWII ended in 1945. Your historical error made me cry a little on the inside.

History(briefly) is in 1919 a comet hit the earth. The comet caused some radiation and such to occur. The people that couldn't find bunkers fast enough,
or in time or what not, and were trapped outside and became feral and slightly mutated(werewolves). Some people that made it into the bunkers but were still
somewhat affected turned into vampires, and the rest are humans. Obviously there is a lot more fluff and I'm sorry I can't remember it all, but
that's kinda the jist. The humans all returned to religion(Christianity) and are basically if you need a wyvern equivalent are clerics, they do things
like stopping people from turning, healing, blessing weapons, and fight. Werewolves are beefy dudes that are essentially the fighters of the game. And
vampires are a mix of oberim clerics and mages. There are guns in the game which we will use spell packets for or if you have a nerf gun of some kind youd
like to bring as long as it doesnt look absolutely ridiculous. There are no point costs to skills each race gets to choose a certain amount of skills, from a
list of 10-15 skills ish per race, depending on the scenario.

Fallout was an atomic weapon while 1919 is a meteorite. Fallout mainly takes place in America, while 1919 is generally in Europe. Fallout doesn't have
werewolves or vampires in the same sense that 1919 does. Fallout is kind of a steam punk setting while 1919 has... well.. only things that 1919 and back would
really have. Fallout doesn't have clerics or a God that undeniably affects the in game setting, 1919 does. So yeah, I suppose it is kinda similar to
Fallout...

When we play we usually just wear button down shirts, old man slacks or dickies, some of us wear blue jeans, and maybe a black jacket or leather jacket. Not
costume intensive, the purpose of the game is to be more of a pick up and play kinda deal.

My answer applies to females as well. I don't really recommend a dress, most of the play styles are highly combat intensive and I imagine that would just
hinder your ability to run really fast or fight to the best of your ability. It's more of a quick pick up game than a highly planned out larp. Get your
basic clothes and get out and play.

Plain clothes are fine. The picnic is going to be a laid back sort of deal.
